Using Adobe Creative Cloud to Increase Student Success
Abstract
To prepare today’s students for success upon graduation, they need to be able to communicate in a variety of ways, beyond traditional report writing. Adobe Creative Cloud applications, used in many workplaces, are available for free to all CSU faculty and students. Preparing students to use these applications, prepares them for success in the workforce. Additionally, these applications can catch the attention of students who might otherwise be unengaged in a course. Assignments utilizing these applications can be used as a method for assessing learning outcomes for courses in a variety of disciplines. This session will introduce participants to Adobe Creative Cloud applications, focusing specifically on Adobe Rush and Adobe Spark. Participants will learn about accessing the programs, see examples of student work and associated rubrics, and brainstorm a potential assignment and learning outcomes for their own courses.
