Connecting the Digital Campus: Communicating and Collaborating in the Classroom and Beyond with Microsoft Teams

Presentation Abstract

Email may be the primary campus communication tool, but in our increasingly digital campuses with their online documents, online learning material, and digital-first students, is it enough? And as the line between the physical and digital campus continues to blur, are our traditional digital tools sufficient? As part of our efforts to better connect the digital campus and our digital students, CSUSM has been piloting Microsoft Teams to improve communications as well as create innovative digital spaces for student learning and collaboration.

Join us as we discuss the opportunities for innovation a platform like Microsoft Teams creates—persistent online and blended learning spaces, enhanced access and accessibility, improved staff and faculty collaborations— and how such a platform can enhance our efforts to create a future-ready digital campus.
