Why partner with us? We know that our Technology Partners are committed to serving higher education in California, and we understand that participating and collaborating with them is essential to shaping successful students. Through sponsorship of the Cal State Tech Conference, our Technology Partners have the opportunity to develop contacts and relationships with key information and academic technology professionals who make and/or influence technology decisions on their respective campuses. 

We are expecting 300-plus attendees for our 2019 conference, with representatives from all 23 California State University campuses, as well as the CSU Chancellor's Office. Attendees include campus chief information officers, directors of academic technology, information security officers, IT management, instructional designers and other technology staff, as well as faculty.

ABOUT CAL STATE TECH

The CSU held its first systemwide Tech Exchange conference at Cal Poly Pomona in July 2017, where 172 participants attended. This “experiment” produced a groundswell of support from our community for a recurring systemwide conference where IT and academic technology professionals can present, learn and engage colleagues, and share knowledge and resources related to innovative technology-enabled processes which support student success at the CSU. In 2018 the conference was held in Sacramento, drawing 296 IT and academic technology influencers and professionals. This year in San Diego we are expecting over 300 attendees, as well as Technology Partners, who serve as true collaborators with the CSU in making technology work for California students.
